Braxton Family Values tells the story of Toni, Tamar, Traci, Towanda, and Trina as they search for fulfillment, success, and satisfaction in life. As the show gears up for its Season 6 finale, viewers can count on explosive confrontations, surprises, and big drama!
There’s been so much angst in the family that life coach Iyanla Vanzant has stepped in to try to smooth things over. “This is a hot bed of crazy,” Vanzant says about the family’s dysfunction.
The season actually began over a year ago (!) on March 22, 2018 and aired up until October 4. The show is returning now for its dramatic Season 6 finale!
Why the long break in between episodes? TMZ reported last year that the siblings and their mom, Evelyn, were not happy with their salaries as well as stipends for wardrobe and travel.
While negotiations must have gone well enough for the women to all return to the show, there’s plenty of onscreen drama yet to come! When the show returns, at a Braxton clan meeting, Toni’s family is questioning whether or not Birdman and Toni have separated and if they’re still apart.
Meanwhile, Tamara is looking at a new start as she has both a new love interest and a win from Celebrity Big Brother. Also, Traci opens for Tamara on tour. Towanda’s boyfriend is familiar to the family. Additionally, Evelyn launches a new business.
There’s more! Trina and Von, her boyfriend, are set to take their union to a new place, but some surprising and terrible news could change all of that! Watch the trailer above to get a taste of what’s in store!
