Hoda Kotb has another little angel in her life. The Today Show anchor just revealed she has another daughter and broke the exciting news on Tuesday. Kotb called into The Today Show and shared her little girl’s name with her colleagues.
“It’s a girl!” Kotb said on the phone while her co-hosts, including Savannah Guthrie, Willie Geist, Al Roker, and Jenna Bush Hager took in the news. Her daughter’s name is Hope Catherine Kotb. “Man, I’m so happy she’s here,” the mother of two exclaimed.
This is the 54-year-old’s second time adopting, as she already has 2-year-old daughter Haley Joy. Kotb also left a clue for her followers on her Instagram page of her daughter’s first name when she shared a photo that said, “Choose Hope” on Monday.
The Today Instagram account also shared a photo of Kotb with her two little girls and the caption, “Congratulations are in order for @hodakotb, who adopted a second little girl, Hope Catherine, this week.”
Fans quickly took to Twitter to congratulate the mama on her newest addition. “God bless you Hoda for giving another beautiful baby a home!” one fan wrote.
Another person tweeted, “What an awesome awesome way to start #PopStart congrats to the whole family… @JennaBushHager looks like you’ll be running the @HodaAndJenna show for a little while with guest cohosts.”
Somebody else wrote, “Congratulations. Double the loving and the fun. So happy for Hoda and her family.”
One more person shared, “I told my husband yesterday, I think Hoda is adopting again! Why would she be gone the week after the first week with Jenna. So thrilled for your family. Blessings.”
