One of the most emotional episodes of Season 2 of The Handmaid’s Tale was when Commander Waterford (Joseph Fiennes) and Serena Waterford (Yvonne Strahovski) travel up to Canada to spread the word of Gilead in Episode 9.
In the video above, Strahovski reveals why this is such an interesting episode and what it means for the future of the show.
“We’re wearing our Gilead outfits. People are staring at Serena. It’s definitely a very confronting episode. There’s so many realizations, like watching the Commander deal with Luke, which is such an epic scene of worlds colliding,” she says.
