Everybody knows that Aunt Lydia is certainly not nice to June (Elisabeth Moss) on The Handmaid’s Tale, but she’s not very kind to Serena (Yvonne Strahovski) either for that matter.
In the clip above that takes you from script to screen, Aunt Lydia (Ann Dowd) reiterates the importance of having a stable home life in order for June to have a successful pregnancy.
“Have I let myself become a bother? There’s so much more to a successful pregnancy than can be measured in a doctor’s office. The ventilation of the Handmaid’s room, the firmness of the bed, the mood in the household,” she tells Serena. Watch the clip above to see it all go down!
