The Young and the Restless star Hunter King stars in the popular movie Holiday Touchdown: A Chiefs Love Story. Taylor Swift’s relationship obviously inspired the Hallmark movie with Travis Kelce. But it’s not a movie for Swifties. This film explores the popularity of the Kansas City Chiefs, who are playing against the Philadelphia Eagles on Super Bowl Sunday. Y&R and Hallmark fans can also have their own Super Bowl watch party.

In Holiday Touchdown, King plays the role of Alana Higman, a Kansas City Chiefs superfan in the film. She ends up at a gift shop dedicated to her favorite football team, where she’s the frontrunner for the “Fan of the Year” award. Alan meets Derrick (Tyler Hynes), who is the Director of Fan engagement. She tries to convince him that she should win the award.
Alana gets more than she bargained for. She wins his heart and gets a chance to meet her favorite team. (Check out our review of Holiday Touchdown here.) The movie premiered on Sunday, November 30, as part of Hallmark’s 2024 “Countdown to Christmas.” It became one of King’s biggest hit movies. The TV Ratings Guide reported that around 2.88 million people watched the movie, making it one of Hallmark’s most popular films. What helped is that it had a Kelce connection. Jason and Travis Kelce’s mom, Donna Kelce, guest stars in the rom-com.

Parade Magazine reports that the popular movie will get a special encore during Super Bowl Sunday. Holiday Touchdown will air on the Hallmark Channel on Sunday, February 9, at noon EST, so you can still catch the big game later.
