Could Nathan and Elizabeth tie the knot on WCTH Season 12?
Hearties were already in for a shock. They just discovered that When Calls the Heart Season 12 returns in less than a month. The Hallmark Channel drama is set to premiere on the first Sunday of January 2025. Now, it looks like wedding bells could be ringing. The show just dropped a new clue on social media, with many fans buzzing.
The official Instagram account for WCTH dropped a new Reel. It showed the inside of an empty chapel, but that’s not the only location included. The footage featured other iconic locations in Hope Valley, including the cafe, infirmary, and FKA Abigail’s. But it’s the shot of the church, along with the caption, that had Hearties buzzing.
“Can you feel it? The anticipation is building for the season twelve premiere arriving January 5th at 9/8c on @hallmarkchannel!” the caption reads. “Anyone season twelve predictions, #Hearties?”
Of course, fans flocked to the comment section to share their thoughts. Most of them couldn’t take their eyes off the chapel. They wanted to know what this could mean. Is it possible that Elizabeth (Erin Krakow) and Nathan (Kevin McGarry) will get married at the Season 12 premiere? Many of the Hearties had wedding bells on their minds.
“Nathan and Elizabeth get engaged and married and adopt each other’s children,” one fan wrote. I predict that in Season 12, Elizabeth is probably going to be engaged to Nathan, and maybe there will be a wedding happening in the same season as Mike and Mei had their last season!” another user mused.

Season 11 ended on a cliffhanger. Elizabeth received news about her late husband, Jack Thornton (Daniel Lissing). Some fans feel that he could come out of the dead. This could complicate Elizabeth’s relationship with Nathan.
