The doctors on Grey’s Anatomy have always been close, but over the years they’ve really become each other’s sounding boards. In fact, these characters can’t do anything without consulting one another first.

In this flashback video from Season 14, Arizona (Jessica Capshaw), April (Sarah Drew), and Richard (James Pickens Jr.) open up to one another about their relationship struggles at Alex (Justin Chambers) and Jo’s (Camila Luddington) wedding.

“Because she left me.
