Grey’s Anatomy Star Kevin McKidd Welcomes New Baby

On Grey’s Anatomy, Owen Hunt was obsessed with having a baby for many seasons on the show. While he finally got to have one of his own on this past season, his portrayer, Kevin McKidd, is getting to do the same offscreen as he welcomes the newest member of his family.

McKidd, who has quite a photographer’s eye if you’ve ever perused his Instagram account, shared a really sweet one of his wife, Arielle Goldrath, with their new baby on her chest.

“I’m so happy to announce the arrival of our little baboo — Nava James McKidd! She is amazing and our whole family feels blessed. We just got her home and Aiden is already a brilliant big brother to her,” he captioned the picture.

“Joe and Iona are the best guiding lights to these new souls. Arielle is a WARRIOR and I’m so proud to witness her natural mothering strength and wisdom. Full of love and gratitude #clanmckidd.”

This is the fourth child for McKidd, who has two children — daughter Iona and son Joseph — with his ex-wife Jane Parker. The couple divorced in 2016, but McKidd found love again, this time with Goldrath.

The pair tied the knot at some point over the past few years, though they haven’t revealed their anniversary date. They also welcomed their first child together, a son named Aiden, in May 2018. In fact, McKidd shared a post on Instagram welcoming his son.

“On this beautiful Mother’s Day evening… Welcome — little Aiden to our family and to the World! Arielle, you’re the most amazing mother and I love you both so much!” McKidd wrote a little over a year ago.
