Grey’s Anatomy takes you through so many twists and turns that you often need a playbook to keep track of each episode. We can’t offer you that but we can comment on some upcoming happenings (spoiler alert!) so you can get ahead of the game.
The most pressing matter of this new season is that a set of uninitiated interns have bravely started their training–as happens every few seasons. Their presence promises to be full of surprises. Some good, some not so good.
Among the fresh meat…er, new interns to be introduced on the upcoming Grey’s Anatomy according to Deadline is Rushi Kota as Vic. Kota’s an alum of CBS’ The Extant starring Halle Berry, and was guest star on Famous in Love, which airs on Freeform.
Also set to air on Grey’s is Alex Blue Davis as Casey. You’ve previously seen him on NCIS, NCIS LA, and 2 Broke Girls.
Then there’s Jeanine Mason as Sam, who navigated starring roles on ABC’s Of Kings and Prophets last year with Ray Winstone in the SXSW film, The Archer.
Also, meet Sophia Taylor Ali as Dahlia, a trooper who appeared in Everybody Wants Some!! and who will appear in Truth or Dare.
Jaicy Elliot as Taryn also comes on board. She’s new at the television game and hails from Santa Monica, California.
The final member of this fresh intern brigade already earned his stripes at the former Seattle Grace. He was on hand in time to drop his glasses into a body that had been cut open (hence, his nickname Glasses) on the season premiere and also had time for a one nighter with Jo (Camilla Luddington) before being sent along his way.
Now this medical student/sub-intern is back and ready to learn how not to be a complete failure. His character’s real name is Levi and he’s being played by Jake Borelli.
Grey’s Anatomy Airs on ABC on Thursdays at 8 p.m., ET.
