TMZ is reporting that the actress is still alive. “Now the rep, Mike Pingel, tells TMZ, [that her husband] Lance got a call just after 10 AM Monday from the hospital saying Tanya was still alive. Pingel said Lance truly believed Tanya had died.”
Not only did he believe it, but he also sent out a press release stating that, in fact, his client had passed away and even had provided a quote to the website about her last moments, which were provided by her husband.
The actress has been treated at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles since her Christmas Eve collapse after walking her dogs and it’s unclear what transpired between Sunday night, when her husband believed that she had passed away, and that phone call that he received on Monday morning.
TMZ also reported that friends and family of the actress told the site that Lance had called to tell them about her passing as well. Needless to say, the breaking news website is as perplexed about what transpired as everyone else. What’s also unclear is if she’s turned a corner — will she recover completely or is she still very critical?
What is known is that there’s hope now where there wasn’t earlier and that’s fantastic news for the legion of fans of Tanya Roberts. In addition to being beloved for her role in That ’70s Show and that show from the ’70s, Charlie’s Angeles, she’s also known for her work in the James Bond film, A View To A Kill, as well as The Beastmaster and the titular role in Sheena. Entertainment Hub will continue to monitor this story and wishes the actress a full and speedy recovery.
