We don’t know who Pete the Pilot is choosing for his bride on this season of The Bachelor just yet, but we do know who the next The Bachelorette will be! She’s a familiar face to members of Bachelor Nation.
Clare Crawley Is New The Bachelorette
Good Morning America announced today that Clare Crawley is the next Bachelorette, who’ll be exposing herself on national TV each week as she strives to find a man with whom she can share her future.
While Crawley is a familiar face to fans of The Bachelor, she hasn’t been associated with the show in a while. She was last on the program as a contender six (!) years ago.
She’s a bit older than other contestants and leads at the age of 38 but a) she feels her age is an asset in her search for love and b), if you’re older than 38, you know that that isn’t old at all.

“I feel like a lot of people put it out there as this negative thing,” Crawley told Lara Spencer on GMA. “For me, it’s just more years under my belt. More years learning and knowing what I want and what I won’t settle for.”
Having gone through the show before and being in her 30s gives Crawley an edge — she knows what she wants out of life and in a partner. “I want a man that will take off his armor,” she affirms. “I want a man that is strong but is willing to take off the body armor, open themselves up and be vulnerable. I think that is some serious strength right there.
“The biggest thing for me is, honestly, it’s all what’s on the inside for me. The outside, if you line up all the guys I’ve dated in the past, there’s no one type physically. It’s more if they go out of their way for me, if they make me feel special. This is about me now. I’m ready for it.”
Crawley first became a member on The Bachelor when she was a contestant in 2015. She’s also been on Bachelor in Paradise and The Bachelor Winter Games. Entertainment Hub wishes Crawley all the best when her season of The Bachelorette premieres in May.
