The second episode of Season 8 of Game of Thrones may not have had battles and sword fighting, but it was full of so many incredibly emotional moments that are begging for analysis.
In a new clip, the executive producers of the show, D.B. Weiss and David Benioff, go inside the episode and give their thoughts on the major moments, including when Jaime Lannister shows up to Winterfell.
“When Jaime shows up to Winterfell it’s very difficult for almost anybody to know how to feel about it. On the one hand, Dany looks at him as the person who murdered her father.
“And even if she has come to terms with who her father was and what her father really was, it probably doesn’t entirely erase the sting of her father’s murderer showing up on her doorstep,” Weiss shares.
