Talk about a glow-up. The world was certainly divided on Sunday, May 19 following the ending of Game of Thrones, but there was one thing everyone could agree on from the finale — Robin Arryn grew up nicely!
For those who don’t remember, Robin was the young son of Lysa Arryn — Catelyn Stark’s sister — who was breastfeeding way over the age most deem appropriate. He was perceived as being a bit of a baby who didn’t know how to do anything for himself.
But, in the series finale, Robin returned for the council to help choose the new king and in the process, he looked all grown up — and social media definitely took notice.
Lino Facioli, the 18-year-old who has played Robin since Season 1 of Game of Thrones, shared a post on Instagram following the internet frenzy and thanked the show for hiring him nine years ago.
“9 years ago I had the honour of being invited to work in this incredible series. It’s been a wonderful adventure and I’m so, so thankful for having been able to be a part of it! #gameofthrones #Got #RobinArryn #throwbackmonday #tbt,” he captioned the post.
He also shared a number of hilarious throwback photos, including an adorable photo of himself with Isaac Hempstead Wright, who plays Bran Stark, as young kids. A number of fans commented on the post and many remarked at what a transformation he’s made over the years.
“From milk boy to the hottest prince in westeros,” one person hilariously commented.
“The TRUE king of Westeros,” another person wrote, while somebody else added, “Your glow up is the only good thing that came from this season.”
