Another Toy Story movie is coming to theaters very soon! Woody, Buzz, and Jessie are all back in the brand new trailer for Toy Story 4, which dropped on Tuesday, March 19.
The new trailer shows the gang back together with their new owner, a little girl named Bonnie. Woody also introduces the group to Bonnie’s new toy Forky, a plastic utensil-turned-toy.
“Forky is the most important toy to Bonnie right now. We all have to make sure nothing happens to him,” Woody tells everybody.
Unfortunately, Forky doesn’t want to be Bonnie’s toy and ends up running away. Woody goes to rescue Forky, but he ends up coming across some old friends, like Bo Peep.
Fans took to Twitter to share their thoughts on the emotional trailer, with many people excited to see their favorite characters back in action.
“Seeing Andy hand over Woody to Bonnie again made me teary-eyed,” one fan wrote.
“Can’t wait to see the final chapter of these amazing movies!! Imagination, Play, & toys are essential to everyone’s childhood,” another person shared.
Somebody else tweeted, “I can’t even make it through the preview without crying. I’ll be a mess at the movie! Love it!!”
However, there were people who thought the trailer was underwhelming and don’t believe it’s a necessary move.
“I don’t think we needed another. It ended just fine,” one person wrote.
“I really liked Bo Peep, but it’s obvious that she’s going to be the villain in this movie. Sucks they had to end such a good trilogy for this,” another said.
Somebody else added, “Going to ruin a great trilogy for this?”
