A former The Bachelorette star welcomes a baby! Jillian Harris, just welcomed her second child with Justin Pasutto over the weekend and we couldn’t be happier for the mother of two.
The reality star, who was the leading lady back in 2009, shared the exciting news with fans on Instagram Monday, October 1.
“Welcome sweet Annie. Justin and I had the best date night ever … a little golf, a little party in the delivery room, a little push, and a new little one to love!” she wrote on Instagram. “Hello. I’m Annie,” Justin wrote on his Instagram page.
Much of Bachelor Nation congratulated the proud parents in the comments, including Ashley Rosenbaum, Trista Sutter, and Jade Roper.
The couple welcomed their first son, Leo, back in August 2016. They then got engaged on Christmas Day of 2016 and announced they were expecting a baby girl in May 2018.
“My heart could EXPLODE!!!! Up next…. a baby GIRL!!!! @justinpasuttoare you ready for this!!??” she wrote. “Thank you EVERYONE for your enthusiasm and LOVE.”
Jillian also revealed they were going to be having a second child in April with a sweet post.
“Beyond grateful, excited and FULL of love for this next stage of our lives! I’ve been so excited to tell you guys EVERYTHING… the last 3 months have been… interesting… obviously exciting but SO sick and exhaustion I never knew was possible,” she wrote.
“The first trimester beat the crap out of me! lol … Thank you @justinpasutto for being SO patient with me, no more freshly cooked meals, 7pm bedtimes for mama, a messy house, piled up laundry, crabby, and unshaven legs… lol I’ve been a MESS but feeling so much better these days!!!!”
She continued, “MORE on the pregnancy on the Blog and a special vlog on our @youtube channel (link in profile) … Thank you ALL already for the love, support and ADVICE!!! We feel so lucky to have you all and be able to share this with you!!!!”
Many fans remember Jillian from when she was a contestant on Jason Mesnick’s season of The Bachelor back in 2009. She was unfortunately sent home, but she was then picked to be the next Bachelorette.
Since her time on the ABC reality series, Jillian has also appeared on Extreme Makeover: Home Edition and Love It or List It: Vancouver.
