The Bachelorette JJ Lane
Former Bachelorette star JJ Lane no longer has to look for love on television because he’s officially an engaged man!
The 36-year-old popped the question to his girlfriend Kayla Hughes in Hawaii earlier this week.
The father of one shared a beautiful photo of himself on one knee asking Kayla to marry him.
“She said YES!!! I can’t wait to marry my best friend, my love, and the woman that has made me better since the day we met!” was the caption on the photo he posted on Monday, January 28.
Kayla, who is a former NFL cheerleader, also shared a photo of the couple on her Instagram account.
“Does this ring make me look…. ENGAGED??!!! I said yes to the man of my dreams and can’t wait to spend the rest of my life with my best friend,” she said.
Some of JJ’s Bachelor Nation pals commented with their congratulations on his photo.
“Congrats buddy! Happy for you both,” Tanner Tolbert wrote.
“OMG!! So happy for you!!!!” Lauren Bushnell commented.
“I’m in tears, so happy for the two of you!!! Congratulations JJ & Kayla!! Praying this season is sooo special for you two, & sweet Gemma,” Tenley Molzahn shared.
Once married, Kayla will become a stepmom to JJ’s 6-year-old daughter, Gemma, whom he shares with his ex-wife.
The pair celebrated their beautiful engagement with a gorgeous dinner at the Beach House Restaurant Kauai, which they both documented on their Instagram Stories.
The couple first went public with their relationship back in September 2017.
JJ also previously competed on Kaitlyn Bristowe’s season of The Bachelorette and also dated fellow Bachelor Nation alum Juelia Kinney.
