Former Bachelor Nick Viall Reveals If He’d Ever Date Kaitlyn Bristowe Again

Former Bachelor star Nick Viall nearly proposed to Bachelorette alum Kaitlyn Bristowe three years ago, but would he give their romance another shot?

The 38-year-old, who was a contestant on The Bachelorette twice, opened up about the possibility of dating Kaitlyn again while on Heather McDonald’s Juicy Scoop podcast.

When asked if he would date the Canada native following her split from ex-fiancé Shawn Booth, Nick revealed his doubts.

“I don’t think so. They [Shawn and Kaitlyn] dated for three and a half years, that’s pretty good,” he explained.

“I mean, most people aren’t married for three and a half years.”

The Wisconsin native was the runner-up on Season 11 of The Bachelorette, and Kaitlyn ultimately decided to pick Shawn instead.

And, though he did pick out a ring to propose to her with, he knows it probably wasn’t the ring she was hoping for.

“I don’t think it really mattered because at that point, my guess is everyone knew except for me that Kaitlyn was gonna pick Shawn,” Nick said.

“I probably got whatever B-list rings they had available.”

Kaitlyn and Shawn officially confirmed their breakup earlier this month and released a statement expressing their sadness over the split.

“After three incredible years, we have decided to go our separate ways. This difficult decision comes after thoughtful, respectful consideration,” they said in a statement.

“Even though we are parting as a couple, we’re very much committed to remaining friends. We have both evolved as people, which is taking us in different directions, but with the hope that we will continue to support each other in new ways.”

The statement continued, “Due to the nature of how we met, our relationship has always been very public, and we have enjoyed sharing it with all of you, but we ask that you respect our decision and our privacy at this time.”
