Andi Dorfman competed on Juan Pablo’s season of The Bachelor and then went on to be The Bachelorette herself in 2014. Though she’s no longer with the man she picked, Josh Murray, she’s doing just fine these days.
From what she did prior to coming onto television to becoming a big-time author, here are five fast facts about former The Bachelorette, Andi Dorfman.
In the Beginning
Dorfman was born and raised in Atlanta, Georgia. However, she attended Louisiana State University for college and then went to Wake Forest University for Law School.
Law and Order
Before coming onto The Bachelor, Dorfman was working as an Assistant District Attorney for Fulton County, Georgia. However, she took a leave of absence from her job when she decided to do The Bachelor and hasn’t returned to being a lawyer.
Epic Exit
Dorfman made it to the top three on Juan Pablo’s season of The Bachelor, but she epically decided to leave him and the show. While so many contestants on The Bachelor wait for the guy to send them home, Dorfman’s exit will always go down in history for being one of the best.
Best-Selling Author
After becoming The Bachelorette, Dorfman decided to try her hand at becoming an author. She wrote two New York Times bestselling books, It’s Not Okay and Single State of Mind.
Future Mogul
Dorfman has a scripted show in the works based on her second book, Single State of Mind. No word on when the show’s coming out, but it should be within the next year or so and could be a huge hit if Bachelor Nation comes out to support her on her new endeavor.
