Five Fast Facts About The Bachelorette Frontrunner Tyler Cameron

There’s no denying the overwhelming fan favorite on this season of The Bachelorette is Tyler Cameron. Not only is he extremely handsome, but he also has a good heart and has stood up for Hannah Brown throughout it all. If he doesn’t end up with Brown, we’d say there’s a good chance he’ll be the next star of The Bachelor.

From his athletic pursuits to why he almost didn’t go on The Bachelorette, here are five fast facts you need to know about 26-year-old Tyler Cameron.

Athletic Dreams
Cameron grew up playing football and played quarterback at Jupiter High School. He then went on to play tight end for Florida Atlantic University and was also a backup quarterback at Wake Forest. He wasn’t drafted in 2017, but he did sign with the Baltimore Ravens as an undrafted free agent. He was later released without playing.

Day Job
Along with playing football, Cameron also got his MBA from Wake Forest. He is now a custom home builder in Florida, but he is also a model. In fact, he is represented by three different modeling agencies, one of them being Next Model Management.

Father Knows Best
Cameron revealed he almost didn’t go on The Bachelorette because his father was in a coma right before he was supposed to leave. His father’s coma lasted for 10 days, but once he woke up he encouraged Tyler to go on the show despite his medical issues. The good news is his father is doing well now.

Giving Back
Cameron’s been very open on social media about his charity work, specifically the one he started with a friend called ABC Food Tours. They take kids from underserved communities to restaurants in their area and introduce them to new foods. The program also helps kids connect with friends and their community.

Hidden Talent
This may come as a shock to fans, but Cameron really loves to dance. Not only does he love to dance as a hobby in his free time, but Cameron was also just two credits shy of having a dance minor. He even showed off his dance moves during a recent episode of The Bachelorette, so it’s clear he’s not shy!
