Five Facts About New Bachelorette Hannah Brown

Hannah Brown is the new Bachelorette, which means there’s a lot to learn about the Season 15 leading lady. Brown competed on Colton Underwood’s season of The Bachelorette and finished out of the top four, but her bubbly personality was enough to make producers believe she’s the right woman for the job.

Though The Bachelor and The Bachelorette fans may feel as though they already know a lot about Brown, here are five fast facts about the new Bachelorette you may not know.

1. Pageant Queen
Fans who watched Underwood’s season of The Bachelor know Brown is a passionate pageant girl. In fact, the 24-year-old started competing in pageants when she was just 15 years old! She was officially crowned Miss Alabama in 2017 and competed in the Miss USA pageant in 2018 — but ultimately lost out to Miss Nebraska.

2. College Grad
That’s right — our beloved Bachelorette has a college degree. Brown graduated from the University of Alabama (no surprise there) in 2017 with a degree in communications.

3. Interior Designer
Though she’s only been out of college for a couple of years, Brown pursued a career in interior design after her graduation. According to her LinkedIn profile, she started working at Gracefully Done, an interior design firm in Alabama.

4. Sorority Girl
While at the University of Alabama, Brown joined the Alpha Chi Omega sorority! She was even spotted filming part of her Bachelorette package video at the Alpha Chi house back in March.

5. Mental Health Advocate
Brown has been very open about her struggles with anxiety and depression in the past. In fact, she decided to walk away from pageants because of her mental health struggles.
