Following the devastating wildfires that burned through much of Malibu, the Bachelor mansion is being repaired.
As many fans of the show know, the mansion was seriously affected during the wildfires.
While the main part of the home was still standing following the devastation, a structure near the home was seriously damaged.
In fact, some people were concerned about whether the show would be able to film at the mansion anymore, but it sounds like it will be open for business next season!
“Construction workers started tearing down the charred area on the property,” a source recently told Us Weekly.
“They are knocking it down completely and it’s looking like they will rebuild it. They want to have it ready before Bachelorette starts filming [in March].”
Not to mention, the family who owns the mansion and lives in it when the Bachelor or Bachelorette isn’t filming will be able to move back in.
Following the fire, fans took to Twitter to express their sadness over the Bachelor Mansion being damaged.
“Whole squad freaking out because the Bachelor mansion has burned down in the California fires,” one person tweeted.
“[I] just drove past the bachelor mansion and it was TORCHED i hate the fires,” another shared.
“Honestly the Bachelor mansion catching on fire is tragic, don’t talk to me,” somebody else wrote.
Another person chimed in with, “The #Bachelor mansion is caught in wild fires now. There are neighborhoods of people facing this. This week should’ve been about prepping for the holidays and now so many Thanksgivings are different. As a dad, I am grateful, as a person it feels helpless.”
The wildfires not only damaged the Bachelor mansion but countless homes around Southern California.
Other celebrities, including singer Miley Cyrus and Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Camille Grammer, completely lost their homes.
