Find Out Who The New Bachelorette Is!

We officially have our Season 15 Bachelorette and it’s none other than Hannah Brown! The former Bachelor contestant was announced as the next leading lady on Tuesday, March 12 during the finale episode.

Host Chris Harrison brought her onstage to make the big announcement and he asked her why she’s ready to take this big step.

“It didn’t happen for me with my first time around,” she explained.

“But I do believe that it can happen, and I’m just really just so grateful and honored that people saw my heart and that I get to continue showing that and that somebody will hopefully share their heart with me.”

Following the announcement Brown met five of her suitors, which made for incredibly awkward television, and she even handed out her first rose to a man named Cam.

The 24-year-old was first told she had the new gig by Harrison during a FaceTime call.

“Chris Harrison FaceTimed me and told me I was the next Bachelorette. I think I screamed, cried and then freaked out. It was not expected. But I wanted it so bad!” she told People.

And, though she didn’t end up with Colton Underwood, she is looking forward to finding her happily ever after.

“I didn’t end up with Colton, but I ended up loving myself more. I came into that show as someone who wasn’t as open as I am now,” she said.

“I was terrified to be my true self because I felt that it wasn’t enough. But I allowed myself to break down those walls.”

“I’m happy for Colton. He was able to choose somebody and it wasn’t me, and that’s okay. I’ve moved on. And I’m excited to find my person.”
