Felicity Huffman’s Bond Set Following ARREST!

Felicity Huffman’s bond has been set just a few hours after she and almost 50 others found themselves indicted after allegedly being involved in a college entrance bribery scheme.

Huffman, along with actress Lori Loughlin, was accused of bribing top schools in order for their child to be accepted.

“Beginning in or about 2011, and continuing through the present, the defendants — principally individuals whose high-school aged children were applying to college — conspired with others to use bribery and other forms of fraud to facilitate their children’s admission to colleges and universities in the District of Massachusetts and elsewhere, including Yale University, Stanford University, the University of Texas, the University of Southern California, and the University of California — Los Angeles, among others,” the FBI documents stated.

The Desperate Housewives actress was arrested on Tuesday, March 12 and was brought in to face a Los Angeles judge.

Her bond was set at $250,000 and she most appear in court in Boston on March 29. Loughlin has not be arrested yet because she was in Canada for work.

Strangely enough, Huffman’s husband, fellow actor William H. Macy, was not arrested and has not be indicted.

“Huffman and her spouse made a purported charitable contribution of $15,000 to KWF [Key Worldwide Foundation] to participate in the college entrance exam cheating scheme on behalf of her oldest daughter,” the affidavit claimed.

“Huffman later made arrangements to pursue the scheme a second time, for her younger daughter, before deciding not to do so.”
