While most of the United States is practicing social distancing as a way to ward off the spread of the coronavirus, two former co-stars from the now-defunct show Lost have had two very different reactions — Evangeline Lilly (ex-Kate) thinks it’s blown out of proportion while Daniel Dae Kim (ex-Jin) has admitted he has it.
Evangeline Lilly Wants Her Freedom
The gorgeous actress, also known for her role as The Wasp in the Ant-Man franchise, recently caused an Internet furor over what she posted about her family on social media, alongside an image of a cup of tea.
“#morningtea ☕️ Just dropped my kids off at gymnastics camp. They all washed their hands before going in. They are playing and laughing. #businessasusual”
Followers immediately started trashing the actress (see post below) for her privilege and putting people at risk. According to Page Six, the actress responded that she’s living with her father, who has stage 4 leukemia, further startling her fans that she would be so reckless to take such a risk.
Testing Positive
Meanwhile, her former Lost co-star Daniel Dae Kim, who still lives in Hawaii where they filmed the show from 2004-2010 (and where he later did several seasons of the CBS show Hawaii Five-O), has revealed in an Instagram video that he tested positive for the virus.
“My experience fighting the coronavirus. Hi everyone- yesterday I was diagnosed with COVID-19, the disease caused by the coronavirus. Looks like I’ll be ok, but I wanted share my journey with you in the hopes that you find it informative or helpful. Hope you all stay safe, calm, and above all, healthy,” he wrote in the caption.
Former co-star Emilie de Ravin (ex-Claire) wrote, “So Glad you and the fam are all safe and that you’re on the mend 🙏. Very scary for you. Sending so much love xoxox” while another former co-star, Henry Ian Cusick (ex-Desmon) said, “Just left you a VM – good to see you looking so well brah! Great post- Very informative and reassuring- DDK for president- you need to get into politics. X.”
NCIS star Wilmer Valderrama wrote, “My brother, with you always. 👊🏽” while Octavia Spencer wrote, “Praying for a speedy recovery!!!”
Entertainment Hub also wishes a speeding recovery to Daniel Dae Kim and everyone else who is fighting the coronavirus. For more information about Covid-19, also known as the coronavirus, please go to CDC.gov.
