Empire Video Sneak Peek: Cookie Thinks She’s Done With Therapy

Cookie Lyon (Taraji P. Henson) recently gave therapy a shot on Empire, but now that she’s left Lucious Lyon for good — for now — she doesn’t believe she needs to continue working on her mental health.

In this highlight video, Cookie stops by her therapist to quit since she thinks she did all she needed to do to fix herself — that is before her therapist convinces her that just might not be the case.

“Well, Doc, I came to tell you in person that I won’t be needing any more sessions because I left Lucious child. I got rid of my 99 problems, so I’m good now,” Cookie says to her therapist.

The doctor adds, “Is that what you think? Lucious is the reason you needed therapy?” Cookie reluctantly agrees to stay and reveals how she’s feeling now that she’s no longer with her man.

Second Thoughts
