In this video, their son Jamal (Jussie Smollett) reveals why losing their company may actually be the best thing to ever happen to them.
“Y’all spent 20 years building something that literally ate y’all alive. Then you lose it. You spend two more years trying to get it back. You hocking silverware, selling the art that you love off of your walls,” Jamal said.
