Empire Sneak Peek: Cookie Confronts Lucious Over Script

Cookie and Lucious Lyon rarely see eye-to-eye, so it’s no surprise that the former couple is butting heads when it comes to the Empire movie and how they’re being portrayed in the script.

In this video promo from tonight’s episode, Cookie (Taraji P. Henson) confronts Lucious (Terrence Howard) over the script and reveals she doesn’t feel as though it’s truthful. “You’re going to pass this off to our fans as true?” she asks him.

“It is true. Look, you and me, we ain’t been on the same page for a while but that script just needs a couple of tweaks,” Lucious says with a smirk.

Needless to say, Cookie doesn’t agree with Lucious’s assessment of her on-screen persona. “A couple of tweaks? This here took me out… ‘Cookie looks up from the sink as she dries a dish and stares adoringly at her man,’” Cookie reads from the page.
