Empire Season 5 Finale Video: Becky’s Offered Another Job

In a clip from the emotional Empire finale, Becky (Gabourey Sidibe) tells Giselle (Nicole Ari Parker) she is thinking about walking away from Empire, as well as Cookie and Lucious, once and for all.

“OK so Def Jam offered me a job and unless the Empire fans come back, I’m going to be forced to take it,” Becky says as she acknowledges the lack of fans supporting the company.

After all that Becky has been through and never getting the credit she deserves for her contribution to Empire’s success, we don’t fault her for wanting to take another job somewhere else! We’ll have to wait until Season 6 to see if she actually follows through with her plans.
