In a sneak peek from tonight’s Empire Season 5 finale, Cookie (Taraji P. Henson) finally gets a chance to talk with Andre (Trai Byers) after he attempted to take his own life.
“Lord knows I want to be so bad, but I am too happy that you’re alive. So you were really trying to say goodbye to me at the roller skating rink, Andre?” she says in the clip as her son lays in a hospital bed.
Though Cookie is mad at Lucious for helping their son in this way, Andre promises his father was only doing what he thought was best for his son. Watch the clip above and make sure to tune into the finale when it airs tonight on Fox!
