Empire is all about family, but that doesn’t mean the Lyon clan always gets along. In fact, back in Season 1, there was a war brewing between Hakeem, Lucious, Jamal, and Cookie (Taraji P. Henson).
In this dramatic flashback video, Lucious (Terrence Howard) tells Hakeem (Bryshere Y. Gray) he has to get back into the studio if he doesn’t want to lose to Jamal (Jussie Smollett).
“This race between you and Jamal? It’s yours to lose. Prove to me that you’re as bad as Titan. That’s all I want,” Lucious says as he prepared to teach his youngest son an important lesson. Watch the clip above to see how it all plays out!
