Cookie Lyon gave everyone a scare when she had her heart attack a few seasons back on Empire. While she came back stronger than ever, it proved that she’s not as invincible as she thinks she is.
In this flashback video, Lucious Lyon (Terrence Howard) monitors Cookie’s (Taraji P. Henson) blood pressure from his phone, all thanks to a watch he secretly had Cookie start wearing.
Lucious notices Cookie’s blood pressure is rising and gives her a call to encourage her to sit back and relax. “Look I need you to sit down, put your feet up, a matter of fact, where’s Porsha?”
Of course, Cookie Lyon can’t be tamed, but Lucious just wants to keep his woman healthy and safe. Watch the clip above to see their hilarious banter as Cookie realizes exactly how he knew she was stressed.
