Fans of Empire will remember when Lucious (Terrence Howard) was arrested way back in Season 1 after he allegedly killed Bunkie — who just so happened to have been Cookie’s cousin.
In this powerful flashback video, Cookie (Taraji P. Henson) goes to visit Lucious in prison at the start of Season 2, and Lucious apologizes to her for not visiting while she was in prison years ago.
