Following the very controversial ending of Game of Thrones just a couple of months ago, we’re happy to see Emilia Clarke just had the time of her life over the weekend — and from the pictures, we can certainly see why!
The actress, best known for playing Daenerys Targaryen on the popular HBO series, shared amazing photos and videos from her time at the Glastonbury Music Festival this weekend, in which she spent her time listening to music and partying with her friends.
Clarke shared her post to Instagram on Wednesday with the caption, “From full focus to a blur still the best weekend of my entire life. #glastonbury2019 you bring me up to my happiest self.”
But that wasn’t all Clarke had to say. “For anyone finding today hard, get that music in your earphones blaring and dance like no one’s watching… @littlesimz @lizzobeeating @stormzy @mikeskinnerltd to suggest a few options.. #aweekendoffriendshipfixeseverydamnthing.”
While we’re happy to see Clarke having the time of her life, her presence at the music festival officially confirms she did not attend her GoT co-star Sophie Turner’s wedding to singer Joe Jonas.
Turner and Jonas tied the knot in the South of France on Saturday, June 29 in front of close family and friends. Her former co-star and on-screen sister, Maisie Williams, served as her Maid of Honor, but it was unclear if any of her other GOT co-stars were in attendance.
In fact, Williams shared a photo from the reception dinner on her Instagram and wrote, “white party for the bride and groom.”
