Did Emilia Clarke Correctly Predict The Game Of Thrones (GOT) Ending?!

Game of Thrones (GOT) is coming back to HBO in just a couple of short weeks for its eighth and final season. While fans have gone back and forth about how the series is going to end for years, it’s clear nobody really knows what’s going to happen. Or do they?

Even the stars of the show had no idea how the show was going to wrap up everything in Westeros and beyond — that is until they read that final script during filming. The cast is notoriously tight-lipped about spoilers — just the way HBO prefers it.

But Emilia Clarke, who plays Daenerys Targaryen, recently opened up about filming the end of the long-running series and if she expected any of the events that transpire. While attending the Goldene Kamera awards in Germany, the 32-year-old jokingly responded when asked if she correctly predicted the ending.

“Close-ish,” she told the interviewer, before actually telling the truth. “I didn’t see any of this coming. None of it. I didn’t spend much of my time thinking, ‘What is gonna happen?’ because I knew whatever I would think would be wrong,” she explained.

She then dished on that final big battle sequence that HBO has teased for a little while. Though we have seen a number of big battles throughout previous seasons on Game of Thrones, it sounds like we’re in for a very big surprise.

“Every single part of this season… It’s not just, like, maybe three times bigger. It’s like 10 times bigger. Truly,” Clarke revealed. “Every aspect of this last season is just next level bigger than you think you’ve ever seen before.”

We’ll see how it all turns out for Dani, Jon Snow, the dragons, the White Walkers, and the rest of the seven kingdoms when Game of Thrones returns for its final season on Sunday, April 14 on HBO.
