Dynasty 2017 returns on Wednesday with a brand new episode called “Spit It Out”.
This title, like all the others in this reimagining of the popular show, comes by way of memorable lines from the original ABC series.
“That’s our titling system,” says executive producer Sallie Patrick, who wrote the second episode.
The CW sheds some light on the succeeding plot line of The Dynasty reboot’s premiere. The network states, “When it’s discovered that Matthew’s ‘accidental’ death may have involved foul play, the spotlight falls on the Carringtons themselves.”
The police are at their door–as is Matthew’s grieving widow–while the family gathers. That’s when Fallon (Elizabeth Gilles) spits out some slander:
“Cristal (Nathalie Kelley) was screwing the bad guy.” Then, Blake (Grant Show) throws a glass that shatters very close to his daughter. Yikes!
Still, as the CW adds, “The family must swallow their own suspicions of each other and close rank to defend the clan.”
Good luck to the divided Carringtons who naturally like to fight amongst themselves at every turn.
Dynasty airs Wednesday at 8 p.m. on The CW.
