It’s been almost 25 years since the iconic show Friends first premiered back in September 1994, so Courteney Cox celebrated that fact by just sharing an amazing throwback photo of the cast before the series even hit the air.
Cox shared the amazing picture on Thursday, which shows herself, Jennifer Aniston, Lisa Kudrow, Matthew Perry, David Schwimmer, and Matt LeBlanc all on a private jet.
“The one where the six of us went to Vegas and no one knew we were F.R.I.E.N.D.S yet #tbt #beforeitaired #lovetheseguys,” Cox captioned the photo.
Of course, the actress writing, “the one where” was a tribute to the way the show titled each and every episode on the beloved series, including the pilot: The One Where Monica Gets a Roommate.
Kudrow, who played Phoebe Buffay, commented, “Look at that! Thanks again Jimmy Burrows. Love you Courteney.”
And Reese Witherspoon, who famously guest-starred on the series as Rachel’s sister, wrote, “This is TOO good!”
In fact, during a Friends reunion that took place back in 2016, director James Burrows revealed why he brought the entire cast to Sin City in the first place.
“We ate at Caesar’s Palace in Spago. I had me and six of them and I said — I don’t know why I said this — I said, ‘This is your last shot at anonymity. Once the show comes on the air, you guys will never be able to go anywhere without being hounded,’” he said at the time, according to Entertainment Tonight.
He was absolutely right. Friends became a massive hit and ran for 10 seasons before ending in 2004.
