Not to mention, the 33-year-old also revealed details about when she was at her skinniest — and why.
“The thinnest I’ve ever been was right after Luna. Postpartum depression. I’LL TAKE THESE POUNDS AND THIS FEELING!” she shared.
The Sports Illustrated model got honest about her struggles with postpartum depression shortly after having Luna in an emotional essay for Glamour Magazine.
Fans immediately responded to Teigen’s tweets about putting on weight and thanked her for being so transparent and honest.
“You glow. You look happy and beautiful. You are the center of a loving family. Eat, live your life!” one fan wrote.
“Thanks for being so honest. As an ObGyn who sees so many women w/ postpartum depression, your platform to normalize is huge!” another said.
Somebody else added, “Bless your heart, absolutely. I had escalated anxiety and panic attacks after my babies. Which is a weird reaction. I was thinner then but I would not want that feeling.”
Talking about her weight isn’t exactly new for Teigen. She also opened up about not being so obsessed with losing the weight back in 2017.
“I feel completely at food peace right now — having a baby has given me this weird confidence,” she told Entertainment Tonight.
“Like, listen — I’m gonna have these little cheat days, these little cheat moments … I always send the email [before a photo shoot] like, ‘Just so you know, I’m not what I used to be!'”
