Chris Lane Calls Bachelor Star Lauren Bushnell’s Dad His ‘Future Father-In-Law’ — Are They Engaged?!

Bachelorette star Lauren Bushnell and her country-singer boyfriend may be ready to take the next step in their relationship!

In fact, the 34-year-old may have alluded to the idea of an engagement in his recent Instagram post.

Chris Lane took Lauren’s dad to play a round of golf in Scottsdale, Arizona and posted a picture of the pair following the outing.

While the picture is totally harmless, it’s the caption that has everybody talking!

“Great day on the course with my potential future father-n-law @dfbush62. Ready for the @wmphoenixopen tomorrow!” he captioned the photo.

Of course, fans went crazy and many thought Chris popped the question to Lauren.

However, Chris later took to his Instagram Story to clear up any confusion.

“Y’all, just so you’re aware, I’m not engaged. I know some people may actually think from my posts … but if you’ll read it, it said ‘future,’” he said in a video.

Though they are not engaged just yet, the pair does appear happier than ever.

In fact, Lauren posted an adorable photo of the couple on her Instagram page earlier this week.

“Desert sunsets with my love. Have you ever seen such cute freckles tho,” she wrote in the caption.

Lauren and Chris have known each other for a while, but they started dating back in November.

They went public with their relationship at the BMI Awards in Nashville in November and they also hit the red carpet together at the CMA Awards.

The news of their relationship came just a few months after Lauren and her former boyfriend, Devin Antin, ended their relationship after about a year together.

Lauren was also previously engaged to Bachelor star Ben Higgins, but the couple called off their engagement back in May 2017. They had gotten engaged on the season finale of The Bachelor in 2016.
