Billie Lourd (American Horror Story; Will & Grace) and her fiancé, actor/producer Austen Rydell, have welcomed their first child, a son, into the world. Lourd announced the birth of her and Rydell’s son, Kingston Fisher Lourd Rydell, on social media.
Billie Lourd Makes Carrie Fisher A Grandmother
“👑💙👑Introducing:💙👑💙Kingston Fisher Lourd Rydell💙👑💙,” Lourd posted on Instagram. Lourd’s father is talent agent Bryan Lourd. Her mother is the late Carrie Fisher (Star Wars), who died on December 27, 2016. Fisher’s mother was Debbie Reynolds (Singin’ in the Rain), who died a day after her daughter did.
In June, Rydell announced that he and Lourd were engaged. “She said YES!!” he posted on Instagram. “(Actually she said ‘Duhhh’) But I guess that’s even better than yes?!? 💗🤪🎉🎰💥🍾.”
Fisher’s Star Wars co-star/twin brother, Mark Hamill (Luke Skywalker), shared on Twitter: “Congratulations to #BillieLourd & #AustenRydell on the arrival of their firstborn child: Kingston Fisher Lord Rydell!!! I can’t think of another baby with both ‘KING’ AND ‘LORD’ in their name. Nice.”

Little Kingston has more Hollywood history running through his veins than that cast of That’s Entertainment! does. In addition to his late grandmother and late great grandmother, Kingston’s late great grandfather is singer Eddie Fisher. His great uncle is Todd Fisher, who has produced and directed specials about Reynolds and whose wife is Catherine Hickland (ex-Lindsay, One Life to Live).
After Fisher and Reynolds split, he wed Elizabeth Taylor (National Velvet; General Hospital). In Carrie Fisher’s one-woman show, Wishful Drinking, she explained to audiences that her parents’ divorce and her father’s subsequent marriage to Taylor was akin to a more modern-day love triangle in which Brad Pitt (Legends of the Fall) married Angelina Jolie (Changeling) after he split from wife Jennifer Aniston (Friends).
