Big Little Lies
Season 2 of Big Little Lies hasn’t been so good for our favorite ladies’ relationships. Both Madeline (Reese Witherspoon) and Renata (Laura Dern) are facing serious roadblocks in the marriages, but neither one is quite ready to throw in the towel.
In this clip from last week’s episode, Jane (Shailene Woodley) reveals she wouldn’t stay with a man who has lied. The older women certainly understand where she’s coming from but Renata tries to explain the complexity for her.
“They betray us and we stay, you know? They lie, they cheat on us, and we stay …we work it out, is my point,” Renata says. Watch the clip above to see the whole scene play out!
