Big Little Lies
The first season of Big Little Lies was about secrets, yes, but it was also about the complicated relationships between all of these different women. While some were concerned about their children fitting in, others were focused on the moms pushing people out.
In the video above, which shows the mothers bringing their kids to the first day of school, we get a sense of the tension that exists between Madeline (Reese Witherspoon) and Renata (Laura Dern), which carries through the rest of the season to a surprising conclusion.
