Big Little Lies Flashback Video: Amabella’s Being Bullied

Season 1 of Big Little Lies was about friendship and relationships, but the storyline truly centered around the fact that Renata’s (Laura Dern) daughter, Amabella, was being bullied by somebody at school.

In this flashback video, Renata confronts her daughter and realizing she’s been bitten, tells her that she needs to speak up and tell her exactly who it was who did this to her.

“Honey? Mommy is getting very upset. I’m getting very, very upset because someone is bullying you. And you never let a bully win. Do you hear me? You have to speak up, Amabella.
