Shannen Doherty Reveals The 90210 Reunion You’ve Waited For

Fans absolutely loved the original Beverly Hills, 90210 and all of its stars, though sometimes the backstage drama surpassed what we were seeing onscreen. Now as the revival gets ready to hit television screens this August, actress Shannen Doherty reveals her epic reunion with one co-star in particular!

Doherty shared the awesome photo to her Instagram account and we can only imagine fans were squealing right along with us as we saw the picture of her with Jason Priestly, and read the caption, “And just like that, the twins are back.”

Doherty, Priestly, Jennie Garth, Tori Spelling, Ian Ziering, Brian Austin Green, and Gabrielle Carteris are all returning for the big revival, which will follow the real-life actors as they play fictionalized versions of themselves returning to a teen drama.

The revival announcement back in March came just days before former 90210 star Luke Perry tragically died. Though he was never confirmed to be part of the revival, the news certainly shocked fans and his co-stars alike.

Doherty, who played the iconic Brenda Walsh, shared a photo a couple of weeks ago after filming the first day, which is ironically being shot in Vancouver, Canada and not Beverly Hills!

“First day of work today and could not of gone better! Had a blast on set and taking in the beauty of Vancouver once again. #bh90210,” she captioned the selfie.

Doherty was initially hesitant to sign on to the revival but announced she’d be a part of the show in April with an Instagram post that said, “Yes it’s official. The real question is…. will we still be rocking those outfits. #bh90210.”

Doherty’s involvement has come as a shock to some, not only because she left the original show after Season 4, but because she has gone through so much recently, including a battle with breast cancer.
