Luke Perry’s Beverly Hills, 90210 co-stars are paying tribute to the talented actor after he sadly passed away on Monday, March 4. The 52-year-old died after suffering from a massive stroke, which put him into the hospital last week.
Candy Spelling, who was married to Beverly Hills, 90210 producer Aaron Spelling, paid tribute to Perry on Instagram.
“I join the world in mourning the passing of Luke Perry. Aaron and I adored him and have wonderful memories of Luke on Beverly Hills 90210. My sincere condolences to his family. #RIPLukePerry #LukePerry,” she wrote.
Rebecca Gayheart, who played Perry’s wife, Toni Marchette, wrote an emotional tribute to him on Instagram.
“Just heartbroken. I need some time before commenting further. #rip #gonetoosoon #lukeperry #swipeleft,” she shared.
Gabrielle Carteris, who is best known for her role as Andrea Zuckerman shared a statement with Us Weekly about Perry’s passing.
“I am absolutely heartbroken. Luke was a tremendous force in the lives of so many. He was a very sensitive soul who was kind, generous and he fought for the underdog,” she shared.
“He was a strong voice and an advocate who will be so missed by all who knew him. He has left his mark – never to be forgotten. My heart goes out to his family, friends, and fans around the globe.”
Not to mention, Ian Ziering, who played Steve Sanders on the Fox show, wrote an emotional tribute to his friend.
“Dearest Luke, I will forever bask in the loving memories we’ve shared over the last thirty years,” he shared on Instagram.
“May your journey forward be enriched by the magnificent souls who have passed before you, just like you have done here, for those you leave behind.”
