Ben Higgins Congratulates Cassie And Colton After Throwing Shade

Former Bachelor star Ben Higgins is jumping on the Colton Underwood and Cassie Randolph bandwagon after he shaded the 23-year-old for the way she initially decided to leave the show.

“Love isn’t simple but it’s worth it! Congrats @CassieRandolph and @colton!” he tweeted on Wednesday, March 13 following the finale.

Randolph responded to the tweet and said, “Truth! Thank you! :).”

This comes only a week or so after Higgins criticized Randolph for how she handled their breakup.

“I think she should have did something different with Colton. It’s very clear that she was not into him,” he told Entertainment Tonight in early March.

“And so as much as she maybe felt the pressure to still be there and just still try to make this work — you know, you have a lot of people counting on you and watching — I think all she wanted to tell him was, ‘You’re a great guy, you’ve proven to be a great guy, but I’m just not that into you and as a result, I need to leave.’”

He continued, “It felt like she was kind of dancing around the subject, going, ‘This is too fast, this isn’t right for me, I just don’t know.’ She knew.”

As fans know, Randolph removed herself from the competition after her Fantasy Suite date because she didn’t know if she was in love with Underwood.

Underwood then decided he didn’t want to be with anybody else on the show and sent Tayshia Adams and Hannah Godwin packing so he could go after Randolph.
