Becca Tilley Says Bachelor Colton Underwood Was Picked Because He’s A Virgin

Bachelor Colton Underwood has a lot going for him, but Becca Tilley knows exactly why he was picked to be the leading man.

The former Bachelor star opened up about Colton to Entertainment Tonight while at the American Music Awards on Tuesday, October 9.

When asked if the 26-year-old was picked because of his virginity, Becca definitely agreed.

“One thousand percent! He has a storyline, like, built into it. That’s all they’re going to talk about!” she shared.

“I would know,” Becca shared, as her virginity was definitely a storyline when she competed on both Ben Higgins’ and Chris Soules’ seasons.

Also on the red carpet were Ben and Dean Unglert, who opened up about the choice to pick Colton as the next Bachelor star.

Dean even clairfied comments he made last month when he said Colton’s season would be a “dumpster fire.”

“Here’s the thing, you spend the weekend with Jason [Tartick] and Blake [Horstmann], and you realize how great guys they are,” Dean said.

“It is not hard to be team Jason or Blake, you know what I mean?”
Ben also explained that Colton will be a little more open and vulnerable.

“I think we are going to see his whole story play out throughout this show. We are going to see failures, success, and hopefully he’s down on one knee, and he’s in love,” he said.

“But with Colton, we are getting the raw view of it, and I think Jason and Blake were kind of prepped to be the Bachelor.”

And, though Ben and Dean have no problem landing dates themselves, they are both definitely still single.

“We struggle, and it’s bad. Don’t go on a date with us. It gets awkward, and fast. You don’t know what to talk about,” Ben said.
