We cannot believe it’s been six years since Sean Lowe locked eyes with his future wife Catherine Lowe inside the Bachelor mansion! Time just goes by so fast.
The former Bachelor star, who was the leading man back in Season 17, posted a sweet anniversary message to Instagram on Thursday, October 4 to commemorate the day he met Catherine. Though he also met about 24 other girls that day, his connection with Catherine has stood the test of time.
“Six years ago I showed up to a really weird cocktail party at a mansion in LA and met this smoke show. All this time later and she still gives me the tinglies,” he wrote on Instagram.
Since their time on the show, the amazing couple has gotten married and also welcomed two adorable boys, Samuel and Isaiah.
The pair opened up about parenthood back in June after they welcomed Isaiah into the world.
“I was very surprised that we had another boy. I couldn’t believe it for a second when I saw after he came out! I was mentally prepared to have a girl,” Sean told People.
“So far everyone is saying he looks like me. Which is great because with Samuel, everybody says he has his mama’s face and my coloring. So it’s nice that I have a kid who looks like me now.”
The good news is the boys already get along and love each other very much.
“Samuel constantly wants to give him kisses and Isaiah just lays there and takes it and never cries. He’s such a chill baby,” Sean continued.
“I just think it will be so fun to watch them grow up together and be best friends. I’m really excited to watch the dynamic as these boys grow into men.”
He continued, “I feel too immature to have a family sometimes. But our goal is to fill our home with laughter and love, and we do that every day.”
“It’s fun to be goofy, while still maintaining discipline. I crack a lot of jokes at Samuel’s expense. But he’s going to grow up with a good sense of humor and always knowing how much his dad loves him.”
We cannot wait to see these little guys grow up!
