Bachelorette Star Wells Adams Celebrates 1-Year Anniversary With Sarah Hyland

Former Bachelorette star Wells Adams and Sarah Hyland just celebrated their one-year anniversary!

The 34-year-old and the Modern Family star have been going strong for 365 days and they both shared sweet tributes to one another on Instagram.

“A year ago I impatiently asked @wellsadams ‘when are you gonna ask me to be your girlfriend?!’” Sarah wrote on Monday, October 15.

“I still can’t tell if I just bullied you into being with me and you’re scared to leave? But please don’t.”

She continued, “Thank you for being the @stevehowey to my @katehudson in #bridewars … Now, let’s get tan again and drink all the rosé.”

Wells posted a series of photos of the couple and even revealed the first time he told Sarah he was falling in love!

“A couple hours after we took these pics, @sarahhyland said ‘when are you going to ask me to be your girlfriend.’ I said, ‘right now,’” he shared.

“I then doubled down and said, ‘I’m falling in love with you.’ She responded with, ‘I can’t say that yet.’ And then like 15 minutes later she did. Happy anniversary, baby. I love you most.”

Wells moved from Nashville to be with Sarah in Los Angeles over the summer and it looks like they’re heading towards getting engaged fairly soon.

“I think it’s brought us closer. I don’t think it’s been long enough to discover pet peeves with each other,” Sarah shared to People back in August.

“I think we’re in the honeymoon phase of living together. It’s good that nothing is already starting, because then I think that would be a bad sign.”

She continued, “He’s more anal and cleaner than I am, so it’s great for me.”

In fact, the thing they were most worried about was bringing their dogs together, but it sounds like it’s all going well!

“The dogs are amazing, there’s a little bit of a power struggle with Boo and Carl because they’re both big dogs, but Boo is more of a predominantly alpha personality, whereas Carl is just an alpha-sized dog,”

She continued, “They’re having so much fun playing and it’s really amazing to see Boo finally getting to play with a dog her own size.”
