Former Bachelorette star Jason Tartick is in hot water after a recent controversial Instagram post.
The 30-year-old received a bit of backlash from fans because he told women to put their “boobs and butts away” on Instagram.
Needless to say, a number of fans called him out for the comment and he quickly deleted the post.
In the now-deleted post Jason wrote, “That time on The Today Show I said, ‘Dear Future Wife, please put your boobs & butt away on your [Instagram]…my mom’s on there!’”
Fans were quick to respond, including fellow Bachelor Nation contestant Bekah Martinez.
She wrote, “Dear future husband, please put your shirtless chest away on your Instagram…my dad’s on there.”
Another Bachelor Nation alum, Blake Horstmann, who is good friends with Jason, wrote, “That slims down the dating pool quite a bit these days.”
The good news is Jason realized it probably wasn’t the best thing to have on the internet and he promptly deleted the post.
This drama comes a few months after Colton Underwood was presumably chosen over Jason and Blake for the role as the next Bachelor.
Some fans were disappointed with the choice, including Jason.
“This was an opportunity I would’ve liked to have had simply because I wasn’t sure that it would work the first time around but I did find love in a place I really wasn’t certain I could,” he told E! News back in September.
“I was so open to giving The Bachelor an opportunity [for me] to find that person. I thought that it would put me in the best position to find my person, my one.”
Despite not being chosen, he’s happy for his pal Colton.
“Colton is like a brother to me. We were in the limo night one and we hit it off,” Jason said. H
“He’s just a really good guy and we became really good friends. We supported each other through the journey and it’s not always the easiest journey.”
