Bachelorette Kaitlyn Bristowe Claps Back At Body Shamers

Former Bachelorette star Kaitlyn Bristowe doesn’t have time for body shamers. Following her time on television, the 33-year-old knows what it’s like to have people constantly criticize you for being too thin.

The reality star alum had Vanderpump Rules star Scheana Marie on her Off the Vine podcast on Tuesday, and the pair swapped body-shaming stories.

Scheana explained a number of people called her anorexic after she shared a photo of herself on Instagram.

Kaitlyn could obviously relate to Scheana’s struggles, as countless people always accuse the Canada native of having an eating disorder.

“It’s unbelievable to me that someone can go on someone’s photo and comment on their weight,” Kaitlyn said.

“It’s not healthy for anyone. I get comments all the time about my weight just because I’m really tiny.”

Not to mention, Kaitlyn also revealed she was being shamed for jumping into a relationship with Jason Tartick shortly after her split from Shawn Booth.

“I just got out of a relationship and in people’s minds, I’ve moved on quickly but nobody really knows what the story was with the relationship for the last year and I’m getting hated on right now for being happy,” Kaitlyn said.

“You’re a happy b—h too soon.”

Kaitlyn and Shawn split up back in November after over three years together.

Jason and Kaitlyn, on the other hand, went public with their relationship back in January and have been going strong ever since.

In fact, Kaitlyn shared a sweet photo of the couple on her Instagram earlier this week.

“He smells like room service and it makes me smile,” she captioned the photo.
